Fallen Warrior.
I was the Corpsman who tried in vain to save Dennis on the day he died. He was a very brave Marine who was loved by all of the guys in Fox 2/7 1st platoon. He suffered massive injuries and fought valiantly to live. I worked on him, and held him until the Med-evac chopper dropped a line to hoist him out. He wanted so badly to live and I tried so hard to save him. He loved his family so much, and cried out for his mom, dad, and brother many times while I worked on him. It was devastating to us all when he died. I think of him daily and always remember what a brave, gallant, warrior he was in
Nam. He was proud to be a Marine, and he'll be our brother forever. He died a hero fighting for his country, and for the lives of his fellow brother Marines. Semper Fi, my brother. I love you, and you have never been, nor will you ever be forgotten by your brothers. Till I see you again, john
